광화문 광장

서울시 광화문 광장의 지원을 받아 제작된 광화문역 9번출구 해치 마당에 위치한 초대형 미디어 월 [영상창]에 송출된 미디어 아트입니다.

광화문 광장과 함께 공공예술 상영을 위해 '광화문의 현재'를 주제로 애니메이션을 제작하였습니다. 쉽게 만나고 쉽게 헤어지는 현대인의 모습을 연못 속 물고기로 비유하여, 광화문 돌담을 배경으로 3D 애니메이션으로 제작하였습니다. 광화문 광장을 향유하는 대중들로 하여금, 광화문 돌담 위를 헤엄치는 물고기들을 보며 도심 속 물고기들과 함께 헤엄치는 듯한 환상적인 경험을 선물하고자 하였습니다. 해치 마당에 앉아 관람과 동시에 휴식을 즐기는 공간적 특성을 반영하여, 명상적인 분위기와 자연 친화적인 영상 색감을 고려하였습니다. 

It is a media art sent to the super-large media wall [video window] located in the hatch yard of Exit 9 of Gwanghwamun Station, which was produced with the support of Gwanghwamun Square in Seoul.An animation was produced under the theme of "The Present of Gwanghwamun" for public art screening with Gwanghwamun Square. We compared the appearance of modern people who meet easily and break up easily to fish in a pond, and produced it as a 3D animation against the backdrop of Gwanghwamun stone wall. We wanted to give the public who enjoy Gwanghwamun Square a fantastic experience as if they were swimming with fish in the city while watching the fish swimming on the stone wall of Gwanghwamun. Reflecting the spatial characteristics of sitting in the hatch yard and enjoying relaxation at the same time, we considered the meditative atmosphere and nature-friendly image color.
